Medic Courses Overview

WMT offers a range of practical, evidence-based courses for aspiring and experienced expedition doctors in stunning venues – Chamonix, Morocco and in the UK. Choose from our weekend Mountain Medicine or Jungle Medicine course in the UK, or join us in Chamonix in the fabulous French Alps for our 5-day winter or summer expedition medicine courses. Further afield, we run an annual autumn Morocco Mountain Medicine Expedition over 7 days. Once a year we also run the 7-day Expedition Skills course in the UK that combines jungle/forest expedition training, Land Rover off-road driving and bush mechanic training with a 2-day Expedition Medic module taught by WMT, which can be attended on its own. Whatever your experience or grade, we’re certain you’ll benefit from a WMT course.

Nurses, medical students, paramedics, physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals are welcome to attend any Medic courses. Please see our ADVICE pages to be sure you’re attending the most appropriate course. Most Medic courses are discounted for nurses and medical students.

All our overseas courses have been reviewed in the BMJ.
