2nd Expedition Skills course added 10-16 July 2017 – Lake District
Due to great demand (the late July course is already sold out) we have added 10-16 July dates to the planner. The final module (of 3) is Expedition Medic so the full week is geared to Medics but non-medics and medic alumni can join in for a special 5-day option (Monday to Friday). Or just join us for the WMT taught Expedition Medic module 15-16 July. Full details on the Expedition Skills-Medic web page. This is an awesome camping based week that covers bush craft, bush mechanic training and more plus a WMT module with a mountain and tropical medical flavour and practical field skills training. Thanks to our Mountain Medicine on Skis Feb course group
What a great but very challenging week with a brilliant team of skiers who battled stormy weather and an avalanche risk of 3-4 (out of 5) throughout. But above all, a fun, demanding and injury free week. Lots more pictures on Instagram – wildmedtraining.
Important WMT course calendar update
We’ve tweaked and added courses to the 2017 calendar (and added some 2018 Chamonix course dates). In particular we’re delighted to be able to offer a second Expedition Skills course in the Lake District 10-16 July in response to the late July course already being a sell out. Read the email here.
